Care & Maintenance (304 Stainless Steel)

Cleaning: To maintain the high-gloss mirror finish, simply wipe the rail down regularly with a soft microfibre cloth and warm, soapy water. Buff dry to prevent water spots.
What to Avoid:
- Do not use abrasive sponges, scouring pads, or steel wool, as these will scratch the polished surface.
- Avoid harsh chemicals: Never use products containing bleach, chlorides, or hydrochloric acid. While 304 stainless steel is highly rust-resistant, prolonged exposure to harsh chlorides can damage the protective layer and cause pitting.
Scratches: Minor surface scratches on polished stainless steel can often be polished out using a specialized metal polish (e.g., Autosol) and a soft cloth.
