Guarantee & Returns

13.1 Warranty does not apply to any defect in the Goods arising from wear and tear, wilful damage, accidental damage, negligence by You or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the Supplier, failure to follow the Suppliers instructions, misuse, or any alteration or repair carried out without the approval of the Suppliers

13.2 Any guarantee periods quoted on the website for particular products are provided by the manufacturer and are not in any way endorsed or backed by Us. We pass on manufacturer’s warranties in good faith, but We do not endorse them, and they form no part of Your contract with Us. For the avoidance of doubt, if the manufacturer becomes insolvent, you accept that the additional guarantee is lost.

13.3 Subject to the conditions, we warrant that the goods shall at the date of delivery to you be free from defects in workmanship and materials. They will be genuine and brand-new goods.

13.4 All goods come with manufacturer's guarantee where and to the extent transferable to You.

13.5 Where applicable, products come with a guarantee card/form to fill out. This must be done upon receipt/installation in order to qualify for use if required

13.6 Goods from us installed out of the UK will not be covered by guarantee

13.7 In many cases, the manufacturers provide an after sales team of engineers who will come out and fix any problems that You may have with their products. If such a service exists, We will provide you with the telephone number of the manufacturer's after sales team and to speed up the process You can make the necessary arrangements directly with them.

CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY

4.1 If you wish to cancel your order: (a) You can notify us by email at sales@centralheat.co.uk before we have dispatched the goods to you; or (b) Where goods have already been dispatched to you, then goods must be returned to us in accordance with clause 4.2 below.
4.2 You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason within 14 days of receipt, for a refund or exchange. Please note, a restocking charge may apply, please see clause 4.5 for more information.
We must have email notification to inform us about the goods to be returned, in order that we can ascertain any issues if applicable, and attempt to resolve, or alternatively assist with the best course of action. We kindly ask if tracking information can be provided for any returns.
4.3 Upon receipt of the items in question, after inspection, if viable, we will give you a full refund of the amount paid, or an exchange credit as required. Refunds will be processed usually within 7 working days from once we have received the goods back.
Returning goods will be done at your own risk and expense.
4.4 We reserve the right to not accept any goods where:
• The packaging is obviously opened (torn) or defaced (e.g. writing or return information on the item packaging)
• There is apparent transit damage to the packaging
• The goods show signs of use, for example scratches or dents on items
• The goods are special order (stated on product page) or bespoke goods/packages
• The goods have been damaged or there are items/parts missing or incorrect within the box
• Any reduced items that are part of a clearance where it’s specified that we cannot return
• Details of return not provided upon return, or we have not been notified via email
4.5 We reserve the right to charge a restocking or delivery fee where:
• The goods are non-stocked and have been ordered in to demand. More information can be found by clicking delivery & returns on the specific product page where it’s applicable

If for any reason you do not accept delivery, then we may charge you an additional fee to cover any direct cost incurred by us as a result. Dependent on which courier we use, they will usually attempt to deliver twice without an extra charge, and if delivery is still unsuccessful, goods will be returned to us which will be chargeable to the customer. Instances like this can happen where no one is home to accept the delivery or a wrong address is provided upon checkout, etc.
• The goods require re-packing upon return and we have agreed to carry this out

• The goods have qualified for free delivery on original order; however, we still incur costs, which will be deducted from the refund amount for returned items.
These costs depend on the delivery service used and also the value of goods sent. Please see below for maximum costs:
Maximum for small items sent via DPD - £15*
Maximum for large items sent via DPD - £50*
Maximum for items sent by private courier - £100*

The restocking fee can typically range from 10-25% of the item/order value.

The provisions of this clause do not affect your statutory rights.
